Welcome to the 33rd Annual CSAVA Conference website!
Dear colleagues! I would like to invite you to participate in the 33rd Annual Conference of the CSAVA. This year's conference will be a traditional event. However, this year, it will be in an unconventional format. In the traditional spirit, a comprehensive educational program featuring top speakers has been prepared. Gert ter Haar and Rick. F. Sanches will focus on the increasingly popular brachycephalics among clients. Their two-day program will win you all over, it is really packed. Practical, modern information in urology and uro-oncology will be brought to you by Jodi Lulich, Mohammad Molazem, Lida Bicanová, and Simona Kovaříková. If that is not enough for you, this year our general partner, PetExpert, should bring us an entire stream in the field of critical care. We are also preparing popular practical workshops. The topics will be advanced abdominal ultrasonography with Pavel Proks and endoscopy, which is inextricably linked to brachycephalics, with Michal Alexa. And we cannot and do not want to forget our indispensable veterinary nurses and technicians in our daily lives. A two-day nursing stream has been prepared for them. We will literally touch cats, dogs, and small mammals with them. The touch will be provided by Natália Mazúrová, Michal Alexa, and Vladimír Jekl.
The lectures will be recorded, so if you miss something, you can catch up later in the comfort of your own home.
And now the unconventional coat. Our meeting will take place in the O2 Universum congress premises in Prague. The lecture program and the exhibition spaces of companies are all on the same floor this time, literally in direct contact. We often do not realize that our educational event is possible mainly thanks to the support of our corporate partners. This year, in a spirit of partnership, we have tried to prepare a lot of new things and activities for you that you will like, which will certainly be interesting and also entertain you this year. You won't want to miss another new feature in the Exhibition Center, the Central Stage. A stage where short presentations of veterinary, corporate, non-veterinary, professional, and less professional topics will take place throughout the day in the pre-determined program. Games, competitions, quizzes, and physical activities await you in the exhibition area, and for active relaxation, we have prepared a Chill Zone with a table football tournament and .... I won't tell you more. Let yourself be pleasantly surprised.
The last important point of the conference that has not yet been mentioned will be the ČAVLMZ meeting, this year an election one, which will take place during the Saturday lunch break.
And one more new feature, this year's conference will also be open to the professional public not registered for the educational program.
Saturday evening will traditionally be reserved for our social entertainment, meetings with friends, and business partners.
